If you agree to sign a "divorce settlement agreement" GET IT NOTARIZED or it isn't worth anything in court. Even if you don't need a lawyer and file yourself, there is still a waiting period and bills and setting up separate households will cost money. If you go to a lawyer, expect to cough up a $*** retainer at the first meeting.
