Not that I hate any of you... But. Homosexuality is one of the major sins listed in the old & new Testaments. Christ died for our sins, yes, but he did not die so we could sin. Although homosexuality actions are wrong by God's high standards, He does not hate you, His son died for us & is in kingly rule now so we can get to know them, not continually commit fornication & whatnot free gratis. Christ died for, first, His Father's name & it's sanctity. Second, after considering his Father's Will, then it was for us. Don't ruin a free & wonderful gift by believing what false religion teaches. One, know what your Bible REALLY teaches, second, don't believe in the zero accountability clauses that churches promote. I hope you all the best. Just understand please that this is not meant as hate, just because it is wrong & I disagree with your lifestyles, does not mean I hate any of you. Please also understand that when God created man & woman, they were made for each other, it wasn't until they had rejected God's Rule & taken the devil's side, that sin entered the world & soon after, homosexuality ran rampant, like in Sodom. (Hence the origin of the word sodomy) Basiy, like everyone, you are human & will sin, as we are all imperfect, but please understand that these impulses & desires are not the way God intended things (physiologiy it is obvious) & although I only mean well, many others "gay bash" - Please don't think that is my purpose. -BE well.

Here's your NT verse right here... (1 Colossians 6:9 "Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, (10) nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's kingdom. " There ya go.

Men lying with men refers to homosexuality, I do believe that lesbians count as well. Now, to be homosexual is not sinful, one cannot help how they feel, BUT they can resist the ACT. ALso, it says "drunkenness" not abstaining from alcohol all together, it refers to drunkards, ones without self control, much like acting on homosexual urges, or lust in a straight person (fornicating is a result of acting on improper lustful desires outside of marriage, or premarital sexual relations.) This is to say that the people of the nations will be lacking in self control. Drunkenness is lack of control. Fornication is lack of control. Revelry is is lack of control. Getting the theme here? Resisting temptation, acting with restraint, amongst many other things is what is being talked about here. Not ing you bad people, I know many gay people, they are very nice people. People is the key word here, we are all people, we have free will, the right to CHOOSE whether to obey God's commands & principles, or to reject them. This debate was started in Eden. It will come to a head soon. Believe me, I am not perfect, but I wish everyone to know what is written. No, they don't I fear you don't know your own Bible half as well as you claim to. It consistently makes different stipulations for how men and women should act and treats them differently. If you want to be such a literalist, then be a literalist -- if it says men, that means men. If it says fornicators, that means fornicators. But the moment you start guessing what it "really" means, or draw larger, general arguments (self-control) from specific statements (fornication, drunkeness), then all bets are off. Suddenly, any interpretation that one can make a plausible argument for counts. For how do you know that your interpretation is the right one, if you are not being very, very strictly literal? You don't. Period. Speaking of resisting the urge to act, might I suggest you resist the urge to worry yourself about other people's houses? It's hard enough just tending to one's own, especially when they're all made of glass anyway.

I think you are mistaken on the BIble's purpose The BIble is man's guide to knowing the Father & how He feels about things. Men lying men is homosexuality, women lying with women is too, so quit trying to argue THAT point, it is OBVIOUS that regardless of penis or vagina, they are meant to be used with the opposite sex.
